A dual-chamber configuration is the DDD or DDD(R). It has both the atrium and the ventricle pacing and sensing capability and is the most common pacing mode. This mode is most suitable for AV nodal dysfunction and mixed sinus node dysfunction. It is often ideal for patients with sinus node dysfunction, normal AV node conduction, normal AV node activity, and carotid hypersensitivity with asymptomatic cardiovascular reaction.

In the DDD(R) pacing mode there are four distinct rhythms:

  • NSR with no pacing (A sense, V sense). A sinus rhythm with no pacing.
  • Ventricular sensing and QRS (A pace, V sense) atrial pacing.
  • Atrial sensing with a native p wave (A sense, V rhythm).
  • Ventricular timing and atrial (A pulse, V beat).
  • It’s preferable to use the DDD(R) speed mode along with a ventricular pace reducing algorithm.

Procedure

The pacemakers of dual-chamber (DDD) have two leads (one in the right atrium, one in the right ventricle), both capable of detecting electrical activity inherent in each chamber, to assess the speed prerequisite. The lowest rate limit is calculated for “On-Demand” dual-chamber pacemakers — the most common forms — while the independently scheduled max. AV time is determined for ventral pacing. The most widely used forms of pacing are the DDD and the DDDR in dual pacemakers. In the case of the patient, for example, permanent atrial fibrillation can also be reprogrammed in a single-chamber mode.

A pacemaker uses batteries to give the heart electrical impulses to assist in pumping it. It has one or two wires attached to your heart. Small electric charges you can’t sense moving to your core through the cable.

It just functions if necessary. If the pulse is too sluggish, too fast, or erratic, they go on.

How is it performed in B. P. Poddar?

For patients with the sick syndrome, atrioventricular block, or both, Dual-chamber pacemakers are recommended for the treatment of symptomatic bradycardia. High performing American double chamber pacemaker for manageable expenditures B.P Poddar Hospital implants. PAC is a new technology to add to a healthy life. Dual-chamber pacemaker Pacemaker with lead on top of the heart (Atria) and the bottom of the heart (ventricles) is the DDD pacing mode. When DDD is mounted, the pacemaker takes care of the heart and the heart.

B.P PODDAR is India’s youngest hospital to receive the government of India certificates of excellence in standard of medical care and hospital facilities from the prestigious National Accreditation Board for Hospitals. This team of doctors will cope with any issue with 28 medical departments with in-house doctors during their stay at B.P Poddar 24 hours away.
