Dedicated CTVS Operation Theater

Stainless Steel OT

A stainless steel operation theater (OT) is designed to maintain a sterile environment and minimize infection risk. Stainless steel is durable, easy to clean, and resistant to corrosion and bacterial growth, making it ideal for surgical settings.

Laminar Flow

Laminar flow systems in the OT provide a continuous, unidirectional flow of filtered air, reducing airborne contaminants. This helps maintain a sterile environment, crucial for cardiac and other complex surgeries.

HEPA Filter

High-Efficiency Particulate Air (HEPA) filters are used to remove 99.97% of airborne particles, including bacteria and viruses. This ensures the air in the OT is clean, reducing the risk of postoperative infections.

Strategically Placed LED Lights for a Shadow-less Environment

LED lights provide bright, clear illumination, essential for precision during surgery. Strategically placed to eliminate shadows, these lights enhance visibility for the surgical team, ensuring better outcomes.

Pioneers in Minimally Invasive Cardiac Surgery

Signature 4 Inches Cut Heart Bypass

Minimally invasive cardiac surgery involves smaller incisions compared to traditional open-heart surgery. The signature 4-inch cut heart bypass technique reduces trauma to the body, resulting in faster recovery times, less pain, and minimal scarring. This approach is particularly beneficial for patients who require coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG).

High-end Equipment

Cardio-pulmonary Bypass System (Heart-Lung Machine)

The heart-lung machine temporarily takes over the function of the heart and lungs during surgery. It maintains the circulation of blood and oxygen throughout the body, allowing the surgeon to operate on a still and bloodless heart.

Intra-aortic Balloon Pump (IABP)

The IABP is a mechanical device used to support the heart during cardiac procedures. It helps increase coronary blood flow and decrease the workload on the heart by inflating and deflating a balloon in the aorta in sync with the cardiac cycle.

Excellence in Pediatric Congenital Heart Disease Treatment

Specialized equipment and techniques are used to treat congenital heart defects in pediatric patients. This includes minimally invasive procedures and surgeries tailored to the unique needs of children, ensuring better outcomes and faster recovery.

Separate ITU for CTVS Patients

Minimizing the Risk of Infection

A dedicated Intensive Treatment Unit (ITU) for Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery (CTVS) patients minimizes the risk of infection by isolating these patients from other hospital areas. This unit is designed with stringent infection control measures and staffed by specialized personnel to provide optimal postoperative care.

Specially Trained CTVS Nurses and Support Staff

Expertise in Cardiac Care

CTVS nurses and support staff undergo specialized training to handle the unique demands of cardiac surgery patients. Their expertise includes preoperative preparation, intraoperative assistance, and postoperative care, ensuring comprehensive and high-quality care for patients undergoing complex cardiac procedures.
